The Exorcist
I found from the TCM vs Exorcist thread that people have alot of ideas, thought, and questions on the series. One of my firsts is why does the exorcism in Africa (referred to in the original) took place in the late forties in the prequel but in the Exorcist they said it was 10 years ago when it was like in the mid seventies?
The first two I saw were singular possessions, one demon attacking the soul of one person. They were a 22 year-old woman and a 15 year-old boy. The woman would just struggle against you and curse at us in latin that she spoke backwards. Now the boy he crushed the hand a deacon who was helping the preist. After those two it made me believe in it alittle bit but not all the way. The third one I saw was of a 32 year-old man who was imprisoned for killing his wife, two daughters and three sons. He was something called a multiple possession, basicly thats when three or four demons are in the same body and argue over who has control. So thats where you get stuff like in the Exorcist, a group of demons fighting each other. He did vomit on me but it wasn't like under pressure. We had bound him to a bed with steel chains and canvas but they didn't last long cause he gripped on to the chain it self and broke it after he was blessed. Then he threw me against the wall breaking two of my ribs. The bed also moved across the room fast enough to know Father Rob off his feet when it hit him. He would speak in six langangues that we recognized including Italian,Russian, German, Greek, Polish and Welsh but he also spoke in several langangue no one could identify. I was only ther e for the first 6 hours so I didn't see it completed. The most recent I saw was of a 24 year-old man who spoke in two voices at the same time, spouting very foul profanity along with a woman singing Ave Maria. So thats my experience, hope you guys don't think I'm insane or something.
