Lance Armstrong.........

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Lance Armstrong's record setting seventh
Tour de France victory, along with his entire Tour de France legacy,
may be tarnished by what could turn out to be one of the greatest sports
scandals of all time. Armstrong is being quizzed by French police
after three banned substances were found in his South of France hotel
room while on vacation after winning the 2005 Tour de France.

The three substances found were toothpaste, deodorant, and soap which
have been banned by French authorities for over 75 years.

Armstrong's girlfriend, American rocker Sheryl Crowe, is quoted as
saying "We use them every day in America, so we naturally thought
they'd be okay in France. We were very surprised no one used them."

Along with these three banned substances, French authorities also did
a full body search on Armstrong and found several other interesting
items that they had never seen before including a backbone and a
large pair of testicles.

he is in no way a hero in my opinion....

i dont care how many times you win the tour de france or how many kinds of cancer you beat, there is no excuse for leaving your wife and children, especially for sheryl crow

marriage and family should be held with the highest value in my opinion because it is those two that will make or break you.

Beating cancer multiple times and becoming an icon of human endurance and spirit, is something hardly anyone else can claim to have done, or be.

His family issues, whether you disagree or not, are none of your business. He left his wife and kids for another woman, it sucks and he sucks for doing it. But don't be so pig ignorant as to take away from the man.

the french have been after lance for years...pretty much since he started skinning all the crap french cyclists all the time....

one minute they're digging up some bloke who supposedly worked in the drug testing labs to come forward to say that he tested positive...strange that lance heard the result not from the sports governing body or even the labs themselves....but from a french newspaper

then in this years tour de france there was only 1 single drugs test...supposedly random...just happened to be lance that got tested

then they tried to bring forward new "evidence" from his initial drugs test which again found its way to the papers before anyone else

pathetic
