Hmm... a Lighter pink will desensitize the blend. A darker pink would mix in and let in a darker hue into the integrity of your hair. Dark and light would mix up a contrast. Dark and Dark would keep it.

Which is why you wouldn't want to deterioate the proper contrast of the blended Colours.
Obfuscatory much?

I am going to be trusting u on this one 🙂
It's funny the way it works.
The, so to say, "more quiet" colors like black/brown/blonde need more of a lighter tone.... Well not really black.... Can't get light with that 😛
But intense colors like Violet, pink or green should be darker. Think about it this way; They are intense enough colors in the first place. If you make them too bright, they will look over-intensive.

Yeah, keep it a Dark tone.
Like i said before....
Intense Colors = Dark
Quiet Colors = Light
If you get an Intense color, you don't want to make it bright because it will stand out too far and look awful. A darker coloring for a more intense color will keep it at level.
Plus, Violet and pink kind of go together.
For example....
Now, the Violet has a very dark contrast to it, but the pink is too bright, standing out one part and leaving out the other, which is kind of an imbalance to the coloring. It looks good on a flower, but not with hair! 😛
You're gonna wanna make your hair stand in a with a Dark, dark pink so it blends the intesified colors.
