Favourite Porcupine Tree album?

Which is your favourite? For whatever reason.

I couldn't fit the Staircase Infinities EP or the Coma Divine/Warzsawa live albums on there, so if those are yours, say so.

Of what I've heard and have, I'd say Deadwing.

(I have that, In Absentia, Up the Downstair, and Staircase Infinities)

I'm deciding on mine.

Some people aren't too fond of the sprawling soundscape side of Porcupine Tree eg: Staircase Infinities. If you are, get Voyage 34. It's excellent.

Well I'm planning on hunting down the remaining ones I don't have anyway...

I have all of them, and I like In Absentia the best. Although to be honest, I haven't listened to any of the others anywhere near as much as I have IA, so I don't really trust my own judgment.

Up The Downstair, Lightbulb Sun and Deadwing are all 8/10+ albums though.

I thino Voyage 34 is incredible. Though I think that might be because of what it evokes from my imagination, not neccessarily universal.

Up the Downstair is probably mine, more often than not.

In Absentia

I dunno..
I like Deadwing alot,
but In Absenthia is really great too...
Its really close..

In Absentia has proven to be my favorite so far. I really need to listen to Deadwing more though. I'd probably give it to In Absentia though. I wasn't really into the more progressive style they had in the previous albums. I think this newer stuff is better.
