I have... but alas, it is true that here it is used more as an insult towards the new.
But at the same time... there are new members that are not called noob... so it does have something to do with the way they act.. but because of many's prejudices towards new members increase their annoyance, when they do do something that a "senior" member would probably get away with they would get a royal bashing.

At the least little thing, they get the door slammed in their face and are forced to take up a defensive position, resulting in getting the others even more on his or her back.

No... There was no harm... It was a joke... The way I posted in repliance was not meant to be taken as an insult... And I would have done the exact same thing no matter who had posted it...
Yes... That is only because there has been all of these threads saying that KMC was much better in '03 and it sucks in '05... (well as far as I can tell) and so people have this vision of a brilliant forum from the past and then they compare it to the one they see today, which brings prejudice from "senior" members towards the '05 members.
