Anybody remember when Common and Ice Cube had a beef?

Common killed it though when he dropped B*tch In Yoo.

Here's the track if anybody wants to check it out:

When was this?

When Ice Cube first heard I Used To Love H.E.R., so around the time Resurrection came out.

B*tch In Yoo is one of the best diss tracks ever when it comes to beef in hip-hop.

Why did Ice Cube have beef with Common?

Because Cube felt Common dissed him and the west coast on I Used To Love H.E.R.

What did Common say about him?

Just that hip-hop was hangin out with "the boys in the hood" and "moved to the west coast". He was pretty much sayin hip-hop has gotten diluted since it moved from the east coast to everywhere else.

Common > Cube

I Used To Love H.E.R is one of the best hip hop songs.

Cube use to be good

yea, eventhough he had lot of racist remarks 😛

Cube was awesome back in the day. I remember being at school and hearing Amerikkka's most wanted for the first time on my friends boom box. Death Certificate is one of my favourite albums, Lethal Injection and Predator were great to.
He also stars in one of my favourite movies - Friday. Damn that is a funny movie. 😮‍💨

I liked his role in Boyz In Da Hood. Jacking for Beats was good too

God I love Ice Cube's first four albums, especially The Predator. He's one of my all time favorites, which is weird really seeing that he was lyrically nothing special. He just had the raw energy and power, and the desire to put his message across. He was Chuck D with an AK.

When Will They Shoot and No Vaseline are true classics.

Thats what i liked about Cube to, there was usually a message behind his music no matter how violent it got. Bird in the hand and Alive on arrival are my favourite Cube tracks.

Dr. Dre raps? I thought all of his lyrics were mostly ghostwritten? Anyways, Macho Man wins EASILY. That nig was dissing Hulk Hogan for God's sake. HULK HOGAN!
