How the media is full of it when it comes to helping..
Okay, SpellJammer wants to tell you about what happend to his parents today. (He warned them that's what would happen. You gotta' think about yourself first..)
Mom and dad had a spare refridgerator, (We got a new one..) what were we to do with it? SpellJammer gave them the suggestion of selling it, it still works, and though you may not get MUCH for it, some sucker will give you a decent cash load. But no, they decide they'll contribute to the Katrina victims.. We couldn't find thier phone number in the yellow pages. (Salvation Army.) So we look on thier site. We need help getting this damn thing out of here because it's big, and we don't have one of those handicap table thingies to just slide the ***** out. Infact we live on a virtual bungalo.
But instead of saying "sure, we can come out there" or "sorry, we don't have the time" they vaguely say "we'll call you back" not giving even a generic time of when. We do have jobs you know.. But not only does one have to contribute inorder to help others, but now they have to do all the work too! What the hell's the point?! Can't some lazy bastards help get a damn fridge out of a house?! And if they're that busy just say so, so we can make other plans..
Let this be a lesson to you all.
Don't help others. They're not worth it..
