As for whether he can destroy it, yet to be seen. It's all been stated. Heck Galactus also has that rep as well. Except, G has shown potential to have an unless limitless appetite enough devour the universe.

Imperiex did show his power, unfortunately he was at the beginning of time...he was the 2nd big bang.
