cant get disc to burn

i'm trying to copy some stuff for a friend but nothing is working

i've tried using windows media, nero and sonic stage but neither are working

ive tried reducing the copy speed

the discs i'm using are 16x - 24x CD-RW's

the file formats are mpeg layer 3 audio

any suggestions?

What do you mean its not working? It wont burn, or it will burn but wont play, or it wont recognize the files...?

i personally use 'realplayer' to burn cd's, its always worked perfectly...

any advice for burning dvd's with proper menus?

the message i get with media player is either change the recording speed or change the type of disc im using (see first post)

the message i get with nero is that there isn't even a disc in the drive (which there is)

the message i get with sonic stage is "unable to transfer tracks"

nothing about not recognising the files on either

then there's a problem with the discstation

meh Ive been getting that for months.........hell PC Dr. doesnt even recognise that I HAVE a burner. 😂

so it is connected wrongly.

No, it used to work but it started doing this after about a year....I figure its just shot and I need to get a new one.

Get a MAC...seriously...maybe try iTunes?
