Alan was a distraction and Grund was koed by Superman, so yes we talk about the same fight. Did you see the end of the fight? Grundy dead (ko) on the ground after Supermans last attack.

For the benefit of other forum readers, I will say a few things. While the comic book you posted IS from 08, the action is a LONG time ago. Superman's first year in Metropolis to be more exact.

Grundy beats the crap out of AS off-panel. Then he beats on Supes like in your scans, after which Supes KTFO's him in 2 panels. A young supes takes a beating from an enemy strong enough to break GL's constructs, then beats him in 2 panels without showing any mark or scar or wound.

Quite an impressive feat indeed. 🙂

Sentry rapes them all, and shouldn't be in this one. His powers are above them all.

Sentry isn't raping someone who can adapt to his attacks and having PC like power levels.

Being molecularly rearanged tends to mute that arguement.

Supreme can do the same and his cels constantly adapt to his foes. I doubt that will work. Sentry on average isn't anything special.
