He was a serial killer who Captain Marvel(Genis) endowed with a small portion of his comic powers fo a short while. This was a time when Genis was driven mad by the brothers of Eternity, Entropy and Epiphany I think. I can't remember their names. It was a 4 part story arc. That guy gave good ol Rick Jones a lot of sh!t to deal with.
