Hell Night

Anyone else seen this, it is a nice little campy stalk and slash in a haunted house movie from 1981. It stars Linda Blair, its about these kids who as a fraternity initiation game have to stay in a supposedly haunted house over night. Its actually not bad, quite accomplished as these types of films go, with a few scares, decent production values, decent pacing and suspense etc. Also the actors are dressed in dickensian style fancy dress which makes it a feel like a Hammer Horror.

I mean most people will think its rubbish, but fans of retro slasher films of this type , like House on Sorority Row will like it, and its on sale in Tesco's budget DVD range for £2.97, with audio commentary from Linda Blair and the director. Also it was remade in 2001
