It was a serious question I asked you. I don't think making your answer to a completely hypothetical question comical is being rude. Being rude would be to say..
"WHAT A DUMB ASS QUESTION YOU ****ING NOOB! ARE YOU RETARDED OR WHAT?!"
Nobody said anything of the sort. If I were to answer the thread's question 100% seriously, I would say this: Nothing. I don't think he was thinking anything. He was simply observing the construction. I think all his real thoughts were reserved for when he was alone.
Not very interesting, eh? When there's absolutely nothing interesting going on at this board, people should be happy that a thread is even getting creative responses at all. Plus, what i've always thought from the first time we saw this shot in the trailer is that Vader shouldn't cross his arms. He never did before, and he'd run the risk of touching his life support controls. In the OT, he'd always rest his hands on his belt, so that would be a more appropriate action for him. The shot would have to be wider, of course, so maybe that's why it didn't happen. So, I used my answer to this question to point this out to any of the older viewers who may have noticed this or felt the same as I did. And who's to say that some of the more comical answers to this question weren't really the person's idea of what Vader was thinking? That's not being rude. There's a difference between being rude and good natured fun. Roll your eyes at yourself.
