The Darkseid Respect Thread!

This is just for all of those people that claim Darkseid's not that powerful, but instead a good strategist whose armies do everything for him. A Darkseid avatar, essentially his version of a GL construct, crushes an Apokoliptian rebellion:

This is a surprise attack of sorts. Still, Darkseid has no trouble restraining Orion, and more importantly, everyone present, including Highfather and Takion, beleive the Omega Beams could kill him. Oh, and yet again, Barda and Mr. Miracle don't even try to stop 'Seid, despite what he's doing to their champion:

Surprise was involved, but Ares remains held by 'Seid's power long enough for DS to explain the predicament to the heroes and for the Godwave to be dealt with:

In this story from JKFW, Kalibak has tapped into an ever-growing portion of Darkseid's power. Using the energies from Darkseid now flowing into him for the purpose of increaded strength, Kalibak defeats Orion. In case anyone's wondering, Orion was saved from death by Valkyra safricing herself to The Black Racer in his stead. Anyway, here's the fight:

Darkseid attacks the Hal Spectre, who, due to Apokolips' evil nature, was murderous at the time, thus likely using his full power. Omega Beams actually make The Spectre express pain. Afterwards, Spectre does overpower 'Seid, but it takes a few opanel. Seems like DS' energy matched The Spectre's own for a moment, however briefly. Then Spectre vaporizes him, only for DS to reform because of his importance.

When Superman gets too annoying, again, Darkseid blasts him away and smiles. Supes is stunned for a few panels even though his landing is cushioned by Plastic Man and GL combined. Also, J'onn seems to think The JLA would be well-suited not to pick a fight with DS, and Luthor agrees:

Darkseid battles Superman after having expended some power on Imperiex. As a result, his beams are less effective than normal, but still look more powerful than heat vision. Oh, and for those looking for strength showings, DS overpowers Supes in a contest of strength after one panel, and gets in a choke-hold. Supes does manage to break free after a moment or so, but it didn't look easy for him at all. DS does land the last attack before they're broken up:

Everything artificial on the planet but the Para-Demons are shut down.With his personal power restored through spiritual energy, Darkseid reignites the Firepits and recharges all the energy of Apokolips. Apparently, his personal power runs the place. Oh, yeah, Supes and WW thinkhis beams would destroy Warworld too:

In this scene, Superman is slightly weakened due to a poison cloud on Apokolips messing with his sunlight. Orion's full power. They're facing a Hivemother alien. IIRC, in the previous Superman/Aliens, Superman at full power struggled against one of them and compared it to Doomsday. Anyway, here they'e both not having much success against it, up until Darkseid steps in:

Darkseid destroys the alien inside of Orion. Interestingly, his beam passes intangible through Orion and only harms the creature inside of him. Orion also seems surprised he's still alive after it lands. Then Darkseid lets him and Supes leave:

From Loeb's recent S/B time travel storyline, one of Darkseid's arm's > both Etrigan's arms in strength. Now, this was while reality was being mucked with, but there was no indication there was a power-down, and Darkseid's actions here lead to the With A Veangance S/B arc, so I think we can safely say it's canon evidence:

you guys are more of an ass then anyone. When someone disagrees with you you insult them and redicule them, then you call your friends in thinking if you all post against them you can force them out.
