OG is an acronym for Original Gangsta. It is very commonly used to describe Veteranos (veteran gangsters) in the Mexican gang communities which are very plentiful across California (mostly around the East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights areas). It is also a term to describe veteran Crips and Bloods as well I believe, which are one of the most notorious gangs in Souther California.
