if someone told you that killing a baby would save fifty lives twenty years from now would you do it?
I dunno, outside of Cap and Spidey there's not a lot of virtue in Marvel characters.. there's some, sure, but a lot of the guys are surely murderers. Many of DC comics' heros are all about saving every last possible life even if it costs you your own.
I'd also have to say every incarnation of Flash to date is way up on the list.

I would never kill cos then I have sunk to the level of murderer and thats right down there with Pedos and rapists as far as I am concerned. We are better than that. Killing is degrading our own character..........
