Denku picks up the scouter and got in the ship. Putting on the scouter he saw a language he didn't recognize. It locked onto the thing who absorbed soule even though it had left.

Rioko's fists tightened. This was his final match of the preliminaries. Hopefully this person would be another idiot who didn't know how to fight. He walked into the ring and looked down at the ground. He was going to finish the job he came here to do.

...and that job was Not to win the tournament.
