Wolverine would get to him before he could multiply wolverines insides enough to prove fatal.

he would have to get to madrox in the time it takes him to stomp his foot or snap his fingers or slap his hands together.

even if he only manges to create one dupe by the time wolverine gets to him that one dupe could create another which would create another which would create another etc etc all in the time it takes them all to stomp their foot or slap their hands together or snap their fingers. so a second is all it would take for madrox to make a dupe.

U got any proof he could do it that fast?

they come out almost instantaneous

here he is being hit and having a dupe come out as he was hit

here he is stamping his hand and having a dupe appear on the other side as soon as he did it

here he is being saved by a cushion of dupes

he lands on one then lands on the dupe just created which then creates another one which he then lands on thus creating another dupe and so on and so on.
