Perhaps it would be helpful to make clear in which state each character is in.
The most reasonable assumption is, that they are all in the form they were during their time in this teams.
-Iceman is not made of ice yet and shattering would kill him.
-Jean has only TK.
-Quicksilver is at about mach1.
-Polaris is not trained by Magneto yet, thus not able to manipulate the bloodstream.
-Havoc and Scott are on the same powerlevel.
Now discuss again!
So basically you have about 4 fighters who could take almost everyone else out:
1. Jean : attact everyone telepathically or telekenitcally
2. Polaris: some type of EM attack or uni-beam attack
3. Havoc: Go all out and release all his energy
4. Cyke: Pull off visor
and all of these attacks take about the same time (roughly speed of thought, Cyke may take a little longer) to use so how do you figure out who would win?

i think thats a little crappy, dont you think. that changes their powers. jean has both telepathy and telekenisis. polaris can maniplulate blood. and havok can only dream of being as powerful as his brother.
Well by the end of the original team's run as X-Factor, Jean did have both TP and TK. No one knows if shattering Bobby at that point would have killed him or not.
Cyclops and Havok can do whatever, but they aren't going to take the others out with Jean and Polaris there. Add to that no one on the second team has any resistance to TP except Polaris. Jean's gotten through Magneto's helmet before. I don't see why she can't manipulate the helmet itself anyway...
Beast is no joke, either. He has senses that rival Wolverine's, and he surpasses Wolvie in agility (and probably strength as well).
And these guys have been fighting together since they were adolescents. If you take the teams when they first joined X-Factor or their current power levels, I'd still take the originals.
