It makes too much sense. Five is too random of a number to have it thrown at us without us being able to figure it out. Why wouldn't Michael and Lucifer, the two most powerful Angels, want to protect their vessels by making them immune to the Colt?

True. Nowadays, they waste the ammunition on hellhounds, no-name demons, etc.
For the record, I think the four other things that the Colt cannot kill will be introduced in future seasons. Every season needs a Big Bad after all.

I haven't read anything about that myself. The storyline is pretty epic for sure. Come to think of it, the God-Lucifer-Michael storyline does seem final -- unless they incorporate Zeus or something.

I dont know whats left for the brothers to do after this season. They have fought pretty much every demon before this season and now they are fighting angels, the 4 horsemen plus the devil himself. Theyve done it all. Hopefully the shows goes out with a bang. I personally dont want the show to continue with someone else. It didnt worked so well for the X-files.
