Yeah, but it took the entire JLA and about 830 centuries of prep time to beat Solaris. That's pretty naughty.

I'm pretty sure that it was Kyle, assisted by Wally and Bruce via phone-a-friend, while the 853rd century versions of the Captain Marvel Family and the entire Legion of SuperPets were running interference that beat Solaris. Superman Prime just showed up after the work was done, put on a crazy PR light show, and stomped on the corpse a bit.

This is a pretty good point. You could definitely argue that Kyle, Wally, Bruce and Superman 1 Million did more to beat Solaris than Prime. It was pretty much over for Solaris by the time Prime stepped in.
