Sonic and shadow seem to be equal speed yes shadow is stronger....sonic can beat knuckles so shouldnt an equal match for sonic beat knuckles too? Well not in segas world, Shadow is sonics equal yet stronger so he should be able to beat him...like i said EQUAL but can't beat him, so why would anything that cant beat sonic be able to beat his equal? or his better?

You are right, Shadow in some depictions is actually faster, he is stronger, and has more powers, so he should be able to beat Sonic, but Sonic has the ultimate plot device, the power of love and friendship.

Not a way in hell is Shadow stronger than Knuckles physically. Shadow flipped over a bus or car with a single hand in his game, Knuckles shatters boulders, stone blocks, robots, etc. with his punches, he's creasted miniature eruptions and earthquakeswith his fists. If you think flipping over a car is more impressive than that, then you're out of your damn mind. Shadow's strength IS formiddable, but it's nothing
Knuckles can't top (since he HAS topped it already).

Sonic is no where near Shadow's equal. Shadow has defeated Sonic while fighting Diablon. Shadow > Sonic >>>>> Knuckles

Knuckles can't top (since he HAS topped it already).

Shadow flipped a semi-truck (over 10,000 pounds) with a single hand. Now put that into the form of a punch plus his speed. Knuckles is far inferior compared to Shadow.

God I hate Shadow, if I only had a time machine I'd destroy whoever came up with that idea, then we'll be using kick ass kero_co plots baby!

By that logic, you can just as easily put Knuckles in that position, and his previous feats of strength upon objects that go well beyond the mass and solidness of a vehicle, then Knuckles would be able to knock vehicles a semi off the ground no sweat (actually he has). What takes Shadow and/or Sonic their entire bodies plus super speed to destroy, it takes Knuckles one punch at the least. Tipping over a truck with even a hand doesn't compare to creating ground tremors or eruptions with a single fist.

As far as en overall fight is concerned, then I can easily take Shadow ultimately winning, but definately not if it was a test of nothing more than brute strength, because in that field alone, Knuckles dwarfs just about any mainstay in the Sonic series, Shadow included.

And people going on with this Sonic>>>Knuckles crap are just being ignorant. Their past battles have shown that their best assets are basically negated by one another's. The only thing over him is the fact that Sonic's super form is 100% canon in the series whereas for Knux, it's debatable at best.

Let's see; show proof on some of these feats you claim Knuckles can do. A boulder (namely ones Knuckles destroys) is no way as heavy as a semi. Oh and Shadow goes around one hit punching those badniks too. Not to mention Shadow's power is being restricted due to the rings he wears on his wrists. Shall we see what Shadow can do without them?

Sonic doesn't need Super, Hyper, or Darkspine form to take down Knuckles because Sonic has before.

Sonic Heroes. Where Knuckles punches the ground below him to create (at it's most powerful) fire spewing eruptions. Sonic Next Gen, where, as an amigo character, has an eponymous attack that damages anything in range (something similar was also in SS2B's versus modes, but that doesn't really count to me). Or in Sonic Riders, where anything virtually destructible by Knuckles' standards (vehicles included) is pounded away with a single punch. In-game maybe, but this isn't an action RPG, where everyone's abilities are visually augmented x5 in-game for the sake of a visceral experience. In Sonic Next Gen, it took Shadow well more than one hit to take down most robots.

As for Sonic >> Knuckles. Noe,he doesn't. The only one there that's canonically correct is Sonic Adventure. For Sonic and Knuckles, it's only that way if you actually play as Sonic. For Sonic Battle, it'd been Emerl who'd beaten Knuckles in the fights whenever Sonic was around.
