Who Should Be the Next Bond?

yersott: have some faith, man. Craig-- to be totally honest-- wouldn't have been my first choice for Bond either--maybe I should go rent Layer Cake. Craig will certainly give a different look to Bond than PB, but I always thought Brosnan was/is the perfect Bond.
Speaking of PB, if it wasn't the money (re news reports) and it wasn't PB's age, what WAS the reason Brosnan was dropped?

About the real reason: there is no reason at all to dump him but for the wishes of the Broccolis to start Bond all over
