Working as a team? The JLA were each handling the hoard of angels. Heck, it doesn't even look like Superman needed their assistance to handle Asmodel. Asmodel ain't power itself - power overrated more like it.

Heck, neither Hell nor Heaven wanted to keep Lobo. That's why he's immortal. Still does that mean the Presence couldn't kill Asmodel or Lobo? Or Death couldn't wipe Thanos from existence. Just because Lucifer is still breathing, it still doesn't mean he's power in itself either - Presence would kill him if he wanted.

Truthfully, Thanos and Morg will win. That simple. Because Thanos is like Batman with superpowers, and yall know that if a mere human with
"prep time" can beat superman, imagine how an immortal with godlike augmentable abilities with prep time would decimate Supes and the rest. Be real. for once. I understand DC is your favored company, but if Batman can devise a way to take out the entire core of the JLA, Thanos could too. And he has superpowers and true immortality to fall back on. Yall DC heads rate too much on strength, and speed. Bunch of clods. Out of the two, i'd say Morg probably would be the only one to fight hand to hand, and thats because its his choice. was the version of dd established? highest can stay with thanos -- it has been argued, and well, that the highest dd might beat thanos -- long enough for the rest to beat morg than everyone piles on thanos.

dd (and the version) is the deciding factor. take him away, or make him the 'weakest' version and i think marvel wins -- though with a weak dd it would still be a great fight. btw is it appropriate now to ask if it's pre-c supes, since his return in IC?

It hasn't to my knowledge. But say DD did keep Thanos busy, that still leaves Morg WOL

Now, I know these guys are powerful, but Morg actually cut into heralds, made them bleed, and even killed one of them.

Question is, how will each of them take damages?

Superman -
1] Killed, since the Waters of Life is mystical in nature, backing up power cosmic.

2] Mystical affect has no barring. Clark is injured from attacks, but not killed - only killed if Morg puts full effort and energy into a devasting attack. Possible K.O.

WonderWoman - She just might die from the same attack Nova sustained.
Martian Manhunter - K.O.ed. Killed, um yes. Not sure how intangibility and WOL, Power Cosmic mix.
Green Lantern - Might be killed. Terrax got stomped. GL gets injured as well.
Captain Marvel - sustains injury. Not sure what his magical nature does against WOL. Killed? Possible.

JLA Vs. Morg WOL? JLA if they work together strategically.

If Morg and Thanos decide to rip apart the planet? Thanos and Morg's chances approve greatly. Heck, the explosion of the planet itself would take out WW and possibly MM.

Again, this is if DD can stalemate Thanos long enough.

why couldn't mm affect morg telepathically? ww can withstand a LOT of damage if she crosses her braclets. more than morg can dish out? maybe . . . gl MIGHT be killed? and he might not be. gl is likely the greatest threat of any of the jlaer's against these 2 opponents. and what happens to morg if the jla work together to bind him in the lasso? cm's lightning would certainly have an impact - not saying it would kill morg, but it would hurt him. working together, i don't see why they couldn't bind him -- or better yet, maybe dd tackles morg and they jla work together to bind thanos?

i'm just saying, with teamwork, they could pull this off. could they lose? yeah, but given how they work as a team, i give them more wins than losses.

This is Morg with the WOL. If she crosses her bracelets to block his attack, sure why not. Otherwise, she dies like Nova did.

Working together against Thanos? Against Morg, you have a lunatic with powers, a murderer. With Thanos, you have a lunactic with powers and strategic mind that outwitted Champion, Grandmaster, and Mephisto. Using strategy on Thanos would be worse since he'd likely take them seriously and be steps ahead of them. The guys also a better hand to hand fighter than Morg, Superman, or CM.

Superman alone can beat Thanos IMO, while the rest of the league take care of Morg. DD isn't needed, it's just overkill. 😄
