Spider-man & Joker

In the marv vs DC cross over, joker knew about spider-man. What contract have these two carcachters had in the past?
I think a spider-man v joker cross over would be a great book. But this isnt a vs thread. Just wondering how the joker knew about spidey 💃

There was a crossover with Spider-man and Batman in the past. Batman helped fight Carnage and Spider-man helped fight Joker. The thing was it was peter parker spidey who was in that crossover, in the crossover you are talking about, it was Ben Reily, so the Joker recognised Spider-man but it wasnt the same person so Ben Reilly didn't recognise him
