Disasters in USA, a wake up call.?

I was thinking, the USA is one of the largest polluters in the world. The industry and government:- jobs, money, economy, Stocks etc are considered more important than ecological green issues like climate change etc. In fact the whole way of life in the west is me first, I want so ill get, gimme gimme gimme.

maybe these Hurricanes which are causing chaos and misery are a wake up call or an indication of what is to come if something isn´t done, maybe there´l be catagory 8 mega Hurricanes in few years demolishing whole regions.

Its just a shame that the people who suffered the most from all this is the poor, in many ways than one, fuel prices is also a side effect. The way its going only the rich will be driving about in the future, cars will be a luxury. Another bi product of the oil companys buying rights and for alternative´s to the combustion engine and burrying them.

Oh I've heard about those technologies.....not good stuff...

Whatever´s causing it obviously wasn´t causing it before as as far as I know having two massive hurricanes in such short time plus the number of hurricanes and tornados not only in the USA (in Europe tornados have demolished houses this year, previously unheard of) isn´t the norm. If there is a Norm of course, maybe statistics and all that is bollocks and nature is a random thing.

I've heard this kind of technology can also cause earthquakes...

But there are technologies like that.....I don't know if it's responsible for what's going on now though....just I know they exist.

Maybe its just time our planet has another big change like it does every so often in history. So even without humans the earth would still have some radical global weather change.
