Syren, what you could do is create a new account, add the people who you actually wouldn't mind talking to you, and give them strict orders not to talk to you unless you open a conversation.

Pretty much what I did -- even though my MSN info's not public, I still had people contacting me and I didn't know who they were, so I cleaned out my contact list, saved everyone I actually talk to, and made a new account.

I think I may just stick to KMC and Infamous.. it's a perfect pace and I post when I want to, I almost always get a response quickly... so it's more comfortable for me.
