hmm, in one of the scans above, SS v Orion, it says that SS is almost as powerful as the infinite Galactus.
there's rumours here on this forum, that SS was made by Galactus to be able to eventually destroy Galactus. if so, just how much is the Silver Surfer holding back or failing to utilise his true potential in his battles with creatures like Thanos?
or is this just the usual hyperbole that accompanies comic heroes?
if so, it's sort of out of character for the Silver Surfer, I think. if anything he's usually understated for all his boasting, the feats he accomplishes are usually more awesome.
