You see what I'm saying? It is cannon, it's just not current.

For as cool as GL rings are, they seem to be only good for pulling off one time insane feats then getting beaten by getting punched in the face by a street level character.

Thor, Beta Ray Bill, Thunderstrike, Thor girl hammers are one of the most powerful weapons in all of comics. The Hammers are bestowed powers by Odin from Asgard, the hammers have no limits, they can do just about anything and you don't have to worry about recharging 24 hours like those damn green lantern rings.
The Hammers are so powerful thor more than once destroyed a planet with one blow from the hammer without charging it with his godly energies. The hammers can absorb other power sources like a sponge, for instances the hammer can absorb a energy blast and channel it right back at the sender making it 7x times more powerful and more devastating. Stormbreaker cracked Galactus helmet with one hit, all hammers can project the godforce blast. The hammers have been stated even thor hammer it can go through any force field with the will of the owner, Thor's hammer went threw Kang unbreakable forcefield almost killing him in the process.
The hammers have no limits opening portals, traveling 3x the speed of light, creating a solar flair 3x brighter than the earth sun, healing, absorb other energy, projects cosmic and mystical energies, causing lighting strikes that are 10x more powerful than regular lighting strikes, hypnotize people, godforce blast and the list goes on.
I will take the hammers any day of the week into battle, you wouldn't have to worry about charging it every 24 hours 😉 as where the hammer is ready to go at all times.

Hal throws this battle way out of whack. He's too sick of a lantern, and although the other guys solo tend to make mistakes here and there that give lanterns a bad name, and that wouldn't happen with Hal commandeering.
