nothing,

It's just that most girls I know, hate widescreen.

they think they are seeing everything with fullscreen.

but they aren't.

keep in mind that most girls I know like fullscreen.

ok but your previous statement just seemed like a generalisation

I like Widescreen, it makes it feel more...Speacial when I watch a movie.

it's ok 😉 .

It's hard to understand a person when reading text.

I've gotta be more descriptive, and Certain 🙁

Fullscreen. The black at the top and bottom of the Widescreen annoy the hell outta me.

hahaa, fullscreene is awsomely STUPID.

Widescreen all the way, in fact i'm going to put that in my sig, I advise other widescreen lovers to do the same.

Fullscreen is a ripoff.

It is literally a RIP-OFF

As you can see the full-screen version does not allow you to experience the envision of the director. Its more of an artistic argument cause it doesnt really interfiere with the story-line or the plot.

Yeah, I'm sure that the viewers of the fullscreen version of Sparticus are really going to miss that black shadow that is surrounding the characters in the widescreen version, as they'll miss the extra 2 shitty looking birds and tree trunk that can only be seen in the widescreen version of whatever the **** that second movie is.

Well will you miss limbs and body parts if they were cut out of a porno-graphic movie ?

Not really, you still see them.

yeah ; but claustrophobically which deviates away from the director's vision of the movie.

But as i said its all from an artisitic point of view. I dont expect everyone to accept that. Most people just like to watch without much thought.

In most movies, the fact is, the difference between what you see in widescreen and fullscreen is minimum.

.....from your POV, that is.

Well, what I mean by that is that you don't see anything of value in the part cut off by fullscreen, just some more background.

and its that 'some more background' that makes Ben Hur (not Spartacus) a spectacular movie.

Widescreen all the way!

Which is, of course, one movie, and I doubt that watching the film in fullscreen would halt it's greatness. If it does, it's not a very great movie to begin with.

Here another example: Star Wars.

It cuts out Ben & Obi. so during dialogue the screen pans right to ben then it has to pan back to luke. Its just not what the Director intends.
