I'm not confused and i'm completly aware of the rules...let me state another example for you WICKERMAN that doesn't involve the forums...
Two kids are arguing over a game of cards at school, another kid passes by and snitches on the other two with out complete knowledge of what's goin on... the kids get in trouble because of the Snitch...which the reason being that I dislike snitches and being the reason that they have no friends, partners or lives......

Remarkable. That's actually how my great, great grandfather reached the shores of Australia. And man was he drunk, thought he was on his way to the outhouse, imagine his surprise when he washed up in Sydney harbour with nothing to his name but a soggy potato.
An impressive journey when one considers the fact it wasn't some upper class potato, no, nothing fancy, just a good old, honest to God Irish potato.
And as to snitches. I think it's wrong when it is done for reason of a grudge, or by mistake, or to make the "snitcher" feel powerful or whatever. But then if there is a real, honest to good reason for someone to "dob" then it's a different story. Of course this is an online forum, it's hard to believe things can get so out of hand to justify "snitching." Wow that has negative connotations. Perhaps "informant" might be a more honorable title.

No, i really don't have anything against you, but whenever i'm reading an interesting discussion and see your posts, they're almost always immature or biased. Therefore i feel the need to intervene.
Now let me address some of the points you've made:
1. Trolling is basically tempting other people to bash each other or tempting them to bash you. I'm not guilty of either. A clear example of a troll is Whirlysplatt (sorry whirly, i love you, but you know you are one).
2. A snitch. The very essence of this thread. The reason i made the post you quoted was because you had such a powerful stance on the subject. The idea my dear is that when someone breaks the rules they pay the price. Ever heard of a little thing called "consequence" ? Well, they have to face them. I do report some threads, because they're either filled with bashing, trolling, etc. Whenever i report, i make a post saying "Reported 👆 " and sometimes even the reason why.
3. I've been made moderator, and global moderator on plenty of forums. I've also been and still am root admin (assuming you know what that means) on about 3 forums. i feel no need to become a moderator here unlike others, like Grand Moff Gav (no offense, it's your dream 👆 ).
4. The crux of the issue. You really sound like someone that can't possibly follow rules. Well let me give you a hint. Go read a debate book. Join your highschool's debate team, or whatever. You'll find out that if you break the rules you either lose points or are simply disqualified.
The forum has rules. Break them, you get reported. People that complained because they got reported by a "snitch" are people that love to dish it out but can't take it themselves. They're pathetic people that can't follow simple rules in discussions or debates and resort to breaking the rules, then don't like it when they have to face the consequences.

Are the two kids allowed to play the game of cards at school? I didnt think so. Back in highschool we used to get a huge fine and get suspended if we were caught smoking on the premises. And of course we kept on smoking. Sure, once in a while we'd get snitched on, but hey, we were fully aware that we were breaking the rules so we didn't get upset. We faced the consequences. That thing right there is called maturity.
And if what those two kids were doing was ok by the rules, then the snitch is the one that's gonna get in trouble, not you. So.....i still don't see your problem.

Your "should I forgive thread" alone is quite "Trollish" though wicker 🙂 I could cite a number of other examples my friend.
Believe it or not I've modded before (unsuprisingly it became farce) they are not that stupid at KMC imo
I've modded too, infact it was funny at RPGWorld for me to be a global mod because alot more people disliked me then not. Even the head administrator said "you're a crazy sonofabitch". But saw how I was always on and did a good job of patroling, he also saw how I was a bit of a neat freak and would wash away all those back pages in an instant.
Ofcourse members bitched and moaned. This is why I feel bad for (some) moderators.. They didn't post in some topics for weeks yet whined how I deleted them to make room and so the pages would load faster. They complained about how I'd edit posts or simply lock a topic to stop a bad flame war, but I stood by my "no ban" philsophy. Eventualy IanJ stopped caring and dropped the forum and that assclown War took over. Then I was de-modded/banned. But maize, being the uber hacker that he was. Used a script to un-ban me, and make me an admin so I could make thier life hell. I thought I was clever in banning admins/mods, but War had a backup file and cleaned house. No-one ever believed me when I said maize was behind it, I mean really, I can't even hook up a digital camera, you think I could hAcK0rZ?
But then they were never the brightest bulbs in the bunch, and they got what they deserved when thier second administrator Jigglypuff had a fight with war and hacked the forum for the main icon to go to the front of the forum page be replaced with a picture of his penis. Luckiely I was IP banned and.. I did not have to see that.. But ever sense then I was overshadowed by Jigglypuff for villany ten fold. But they still never miss an oppurtunity to be sonsabitches, even most of the other's have started to see it and there's bassicaly two sides to the forum. Even some of my former enemies are like "give it a rest already.." But some people are malevolent down to their core..
