hk 47 vs. ig 88

Yeah, and even though HK-47 might be technologically inferior (due to his being created much earlier, although he was probably made at the Starforge) I'd have to say that he is probably also much more intelligent and adaptable than IG-88, and knows how to use what he has better than IG-88. I bet HK would find some way to outsmart IG and waste him.

IG would win I think. He gave Boba a real hard time, and I doubt HK could do that. IG also infitrated the second Death Star. That take skill. Add that to him being a war droid instead of a Assassin droid and he wins.

WTH?? There actually is a book on IG-88!!? 😱
Anybody please tell me wich one it is!!! 😱 😱 😱

HK-47 would find a way to win, he seems to be more "human" in "nature".

IG-88 truly is a cold-blooded killing machine. So is HK, but with a sense of hummanity in his smart ass comments and personality. Because of these human-like traits, he is much more inclined to go the extra mile, and devise a way to win..

i like th hk character alot more, but i'm unsure about a fight, i guess it would depend on location and available weaponry.

lets say hk has his typical heavy blaster rifle and they are fighting at old war bunkers where they could find cover.

Thats really unrealistic when you look at HK.. From all we know he was always equipped with rockets, blasters several kinds even the illegal one's (Mandelorian kinds) and a flamethrower or two... Some grenades and mines... He would take IG 88 with that... And thats his standard equipement probably.

which one is a droid bent on conquering the galaxy and which one is the dude from cruise liners he went crazy and eventually worked for jabba

Hk also likes disruptor weapons and Mandalorian technology.

they're very confusing

wait, backtrack for a minute, an assassin can't take a soldier in a straight fight (assuming they have the same skill in what they do), assassination is all about indirect fighting.

It comes down to whoever gets the first attack. One round from a Mandalorian ripper and IG is scrap. But if the latter can get out a blast with his pulse weapon, he'll melt HK.

yeah, it kinda stinks when it comes down to that, it makes it difficult, oh well.
