The most remarkable character by far is the bounty hunter D'harhan, a stunning hybrid of bipedal creature and machine. In the place of a head, D'harhan has had a laser cannon grafted onto his shoulders and attached to his vertebrae. His cerebral functions have been transferred from his discarded skull to an armoured box attached to his chest. Unlike Boba Fett, D'harhan is more than merely a human augmented with machinery. D'harhan has actually become a walking weapon:D'harhan punched a string of words into his voice box and turned the device away from himself. "YOU WOULD HAVE TO KILL ME," it spoke aloud. "TO RENDER ME WEAPONLESS." The voice had sounded like thunder beneath the roiling clouds of steam. The laser cannon's tracking systems gazed hard at Boba Fett as the next words were displayed. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE...BETWEEN ME AND MY WEAPONS.
