Custom smilies not allowed in signatures?

true, and i was making a general statement for suffering. people have to suffer because those people use big smilies, ruining it for all...not like they are suffering from some sort of disease...

well, it kind of rubbed me the wrong way. whenever i want to criticize someone or something of theirs, i always think how i would react if the same thing was said towards me. no harm, no foul, i guess.

again, i dont see why it is a big deal to have custom smilys in our sigs. i agree that there should be a limit, but to disable them completely, i dont understand.

another question..... if i change my picture sig, will the smilys be deleted? if so, will this be done automatically, or will i have to go back and manually delete them? also, if i keep my sig as it is, will the smilys stay as they are, or will i sign in one day and see that it has changed by itself?
another thing. i dont appreciate the hostility and potshots taken at me in this thread. i had a reasonable question, so i asked, then i am placed in the spotlight. if someone thinks my sig is "overkill", so be it, but dont take cheap shots at me, especially when this "someone" doesnt even know me. i dont go around causing trouble like a lot of members do here, so please extend the same courtesy to me as i do to others.

good point. heres an idea: dont limit the number of smilys, just limit the amount of space. like if 4 small smilys take up the same amount of space as 2 big ass smilys, thats the limit. to deny us custom smilys isnt cool at all.
