$$$ Bruce or Lex $$$

Just as a matter of interest really, but who is richer Bruce Wayne or Lex Luthor.

I was reading world finest on the way to work today and there was a part when both Bruce & Lex stump up half the cash for a new orphanage and it got me thinking about which one of them has the most clout financially speaking.

im not looking for stock portfolios or current share prices just the overall opinion really.

I think Lex might have more money, but it could go either way. Both seem to be infinitely rich lol

Yeah, i would think that Lex is probably richer than Bruce but the only evidence i have for that i because the bald freak is always in his suits either making multi million dollar deals or running for president!

Bruce maybe is just as wealthy but when your running around in the shadows dressed like a bat all day and night its kinda hard to look at that person as a billionaire playboy.

Both men are very rich industrialist. Lex might have the upper hand in the comics since he contributed to the rebuilding of Gotham during the aftermath of The No Man's Land storyline.

Both have a ton of money. Im going with Lex on this one, but it could be either way.

The way I look at it, Bruce has less money, but Lex is worth less. Know what I mean?

but I believe that Superman stated, that Bruce Waynes Family had more money than Lex but could have never used it equaly as he did.....

Bruce has WAY more money than lex

i think they're comparable in terms of wealth...cept the Waynes invested in stuff that will benefit humanity....Luthor only invests in stuff that will benefit him....whether it benefits humanity is a side effect or a way for him to establish more investing opportunities cuz it makes him look like a good guy.

I think Luthor's more of risk taker (with crazy experiments, military applications, etc) while Wayne has a solid foundation (R & D, hospitals, etc). That's just my feel for it.

How are other characters in terms of wealth? Black Panther, Tony Stark (Marvel U)? Ras Al Ghul?

Lex luther really wants to kill superman/wants power, he should just use some of that money to make an undestructable titanium or virbranium suit/ or specially science experiment that amplifies his strength by 1000 fold and his speed by 100 fold and gives him nigh-invulnerability,gives him the ability to charge electricity from any electrical source like outlets/wires/etc and do shit like that.

He should have the money to do it.

Just using kryptonite has gotten so stale and cornry and doesn't effect him the same way anymore, hmmm get a clue dumbass, if he can still keep coming abck after you use kryptonite on him and he still kicks your ass then give yourself the superpowers to deal with him, permanently.

If tony stark can use his money to do that type of unbreakable suit/hulk buster suit/ I can lift 180 with my thrusters on suit type shit, then lex with his infinite money can do the same.

In the Man of steel miniseries, it was stated that Lex is the third richest man in the world, right behind some other idiots.

lex i would imagine is richer. hes more money hungry then bruce, and hes a better buisness man i would imagine.

I have to go with Lex on this one.

Lex devotes his life to making more money (/ killing superman on occasion), Bruce does not.

Do you guys actually read the comics or just guess? If you read the comics, Bruce Wayne is far and away more wealthy than Lex Luthor... however, as Batman, relies on that wealth far less than Luthor relies on his wealth as a villain.

How do we know that Wayne is wealthier? Well first, let's put Luthor in perspective... he basically built modern Metropolis, after NML he literally moved and rebuilt Gotham on his own dime, the funded a bid for the presidency from his own pocket and won... that is a sick amount of money beyond anything in this world or the Marvel Universe.

Then why is Bruce Wayne richer? For starters, he's kept up with Lex every step of the way, in technology, struggling for control of new Gotham, etc. But most importantly, when Lex became the President of the United State, he gave up his holdings, his company, everything, so that there would not be a conflict of interest between his extensive corporate holdings and his duties as POTUS. What happened next? Wayne acquired it all. Bruce Wayne currently owns all his holdings and all of Lex's... he's richer than god... which only goes further towards making his character unrealistic, but those are the facts.

Anyone who says that Wayne is richer than lex Luthor is obviously misinformed person.

Gotham had a massive earthquake that practically devastated the whole city and who was there when the ashes cleared? LexCorp. Who was there to rebuild the entire city again? LexCorp.

I read the Lex Luther was a Multi-billionaire super genius and every time i read Batman comics I would always see LexCorp products all over the place.

Wayne Enterprises is a national company while LexCorp is multinational/Global

Lex buys Bruce.
