Don't you love it when your favorite singer yells like a madman?

Some of my favorite screams/yells in music...

Maynard James Keenan in Eulogy/The Grudge/Ticks & Leeches
Frank Black in Tame
Thom Yorke in Climbing Up the Walls
Cedric Bixler in Arc Arsenal
Robert Plant in Since I've Been Loving You
Isaac Brock in Teeth Like God's Shoeshine/Bury Me With It
Clare Torry in The Great Gig in the Sky (madwoman, in this case)

Those yells or screams or whatever you wanna call them are just great, I love it. Definitely some very powerful vocal performances there. I'm sure alot of people here can add some good ones since I know alot of you are into heavier stuff.

Let me tell you this.....never try and do Maynard's 26 second long scream from The Grudge if you're singing along while driving.

Never try and do Maynard's shout from The Grudge, full stop. I did try, I couldn't get one over 6 seconds. How the man does 25-26 is beyond me.

I was killing time while stuck at a red light driving to school a few months ago (hence my comment about it not being a wise idea while driving, I got minorly dizzy), and was timing it off the display on my CD player 😛

You would be in the Guinness world record book should that be the case.

The vocal intro to The Moor by Opeth is a favourite. Chris Cornell in the chorus of Mind Riot by Soundgarden.

Mike Patton on any Fantomas song. Serj Tankian on the intro to Prison Song.
