worlds apart was a good storm book, i honestly enjoyed reading it. when it came to cyclops' role, though, they dropped the ball big time, imo.

i will not stop using worlds apart because it is solid proof. poor writing or not its still proof and its is solid evidence.. the shyt is cannon and is mainstreme. people need to stop blaming him getting his ass handled on poor writing. at least he did take out all the othe x men, shyt be happy about that.
oh i think he was written well in worlds apart because, he he also went through something alot of street levelers wouldnt survive. storm blew the jet up and knew he would survive. then(even though it wasnt her intentions, she just did enough to draw SK out) he survived a lightning strike through his chest whick could have still easilly killed him by shutting his heart down. so he was not written poorly. people tend to want him at a human god level.

the surfer wasn't hurt by the lightning. plus, you're talking about one of the most ridiculed marvel comics of the last five years. remember, that was the same issue were panther armbarred the surfer.
it's not solid proof of anything. it was poor writing of cyclops. he's taken out all the other x-men by himself before, so it makes no difference.

no im talking about the older comic and the one you just mentioned. but i do not agree with BP and that arm lock. that doent stop the fact that she has hit the surfer with lightning and he has felt the effects.. both times. the first time being when he screeched and the second time him cringing in pain.
so he's taken them out before so.. he isnt invincible. the book is mainstreme and is solid proof and you dont like it. get over it.

first off i have said two ocassions where she hurt him. i have back my shyt up. bullshyt on BP feat not storms because she had done it before.
if something explodes on your face you will not survive. read the scan. the gun was in callistos hands and it exploded jagged shards into her face. in scotts case his visor is on his face. on his eyes. he will not survive and if he does then his eyes will be lost and his face will be deformed.
since his visor is shiar tech there is no proof that she can do anything to it. but its not like she hasnt shut down a skrull space ship before.

Did any of us say that Scott was trying to kill her? Neither of them will try to kill the other so my point still stands that she won't do that.
Prove that he can't take it, and prove that she can affect his visor.
