He said it was a real lightsaber. He lied. It was just a simple, piece-of-crap lighter on what looked like a mini lightsaber hilt. That is why people laugh at him. He SHOULD be ridiculed. He defended that it was real the whole time, and assured us when he posted pictures we would be totally convinced. Just another complete idiot wanting attention. So sad.

I did not lie, first of all there is no real lightsabers, they are only fictional things in a movie. i made a real one, i mean one that looks like the movie ones with a real fire coming from it. How do you know that the technology in the movie could not be described as some form of advanced blow torch with intense heat using gas and hight power etc.
Any way the one I made the fullscale one, looks just like a real lightsaber i the films, and it even has a flame that comes out of it. Yes it is not as powerful but so what, it is really amazing. It was very hard to make.
if we are talking fiction in the movie, whats to say that i could not imagine it as a gas blade with intense heart and power that we have not seen. So perhaps i am on the right track, if we could get a gas lazer or some form of plasma gas heat to come out of the hilt, that may be what it is like.
Anyway I did not lie, I believe I put together a real lightsaber, though it is not as powerful.
As a matter of fact, those toy lightsabers with the plastic blade that have lights coming in them from Master replicas are also real lightsabers, they could be used as a sword to hit someone etc, but they are ot as powerful as the movie fiction. Or you could take a real sword attach it to a lightsaber hilt and light it on fire and then you would have a real lightsaber. It all depend s on your perspective.
I do however repent if I made some think that I made a real lightsaber that could do exactly what the movie lightsaber s can do in the fiction.
Perhaps when I post the full scale one I should label the post differently, something like, A device that looks like a real lightsaber, and actually is hot and can burn and is neat"
