*Winterstar's paws prickled as she watched Darkstar about to strike. She was prepared to counter attack when suddenly the light around them was blocked out by the clouds. She looked up above her and spotted the clouds covering the moon. Starclan had ended the meeting. The clans had broken the truce. Winterstar looked down at her paws, slightly ashamed. She stared at her clan, they were gazing at her in astonishment. What had come over their leader? Even the medicine cat was flicking her tail in curiousity. She had known the dream that Winterstar had had but to act like this, and to anger starclan of all else! This gave the med. cat quite a puzzled expression. Winterstar let out a heavy sigh and gave each of the cats a nod before hopping off of highrock and trotting into the middle of her clan. They followed her slowly. Some of the apprentices wished to stay and chat with their friends from other clans but a stern look from the warriors and elders kept them going. Winterstar turned to give Darkstar a final glance before she and the rest of riverclan disappeared into the forest, their sleek bodies concealed in the shadows*
*Shadeclaw growled lowly. "About time that she-cat left! Who does she think she is?! Bossing our leader around as if he were some kind of mouse brained fool!! I'll show her a thing or two when the time comes. Riverclan will suffer!" Shadeclaw glanced up at Darkstar. He was ready for his leader's command to either attack the Riverclan cats, or to return to the Windclan camp where the queens and kits waited. He curled his tail around his paws, his black feet occasionally twitching with impatience*
*Rubypelt glanced up at Bluestar. Her eyes were filled with concern. Starclan hardly ever became angry at meetings. Why were they so furious now? Had Winterstar done it? Had it been Darkstar? She looked at Bluestar along with Tabbypaw, both were awaiting orders from their leader*
