zOMG! A Janus Thread!

Listen up! It's a showdown... Assajj Ventress and ol' Count Dooku versus Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Qui-gon Jinn! The location? The jedi temple, archives room.

*gasp* However, I say the duo. Ventress could take Qui-Gon, while Dooku pummels on Anakin and Obi-Wan. After dealing with the senior, Asajj would help her Master.

Why type when others can do it for you?

I concur. Council adjurned.

That's sad that this is so straightforward.

Let's pull an Avis and lump another jedi in there.

Ki-Adi-Mundi

Same result. Ki was never a great fighter. I bet Assajj can hold off both Qui-Gon and Ki-Adi, while Dooku takes out Obi-Wan and Anakin.

Well, let us take this into consideration. Asajj takes Qui-Gon and Ki-Adi. Asajj was on par with Kit, who I believe to be a few levels above Ki-Adi. Maybe. I give this 2/3 to the duo and 1/3 to the quadruplets. They still take it.

Sith pwn. Figures.

New match!

Luminara And Bariss versus AOTC level Anakin and Obi-Wan. Locale? Mos Eisely street.

zOMG! Janus is on a book cover!

Good idea. Lemme see. Obi-Wan is better than both. But together, they might take him. Luminara and Obi-Wan would most likely come to a draw or stalemate for a long time. It comes down to who is better, Anakin or Barriss? I can't decide, due to lack of info.

Sith. Ventress would get owned by Anakin. The other two would die in the hands of Dooku.

wtf with that book cover?

And to fill you in, Luminara around the time of AOTC was already a master since pre TPM times (The Cloak of Deception). She was a Form III practitioner who later went on to master the style, same as Obi-wan in ROTS. Barriss, her padawan, is a renowned healer and also a form III practitioner.

Anakin practices what appears to be Shien, although it's possible he has some Ataru influences in his style. He's far from mastered it at this point. Obi-Wan is now a Form III practitioner as of AOTC, but his defense is far from perfect.

I'm leaning towards Obi-Wan, while Anakin was very raw, he was also extremely talented. Both of them show being resourceful, and Luminari and Bariss both come off as being just another one of the order, which was extremely structured.

It's more of a gut feeling, as I don't have the raw figures and facts, but I give it Obi and Ani.

You make it rather obvious that Barriss and Luminara will win. Luminara has better physical abilities as well as mastery than Obi, so I have no doubt she'll beat him. I suspect the same for Barriss. The female Jedi win, for once.

Luminara and Barris would win.

I think Anakin would probably overcome Barriss after a bit, but Luminara at that point is probably better than Obi-Wan.

I wouldn't underestimate Obi-Wan. He did beat Maul after all, who I would argue could beat Luminara. It's far from conclusive, but Obi-Wan seems to possess the resourcefulness and cunning to take her down.

True, and that is what makes it a more even fight. Despite her age difference and more training, Obi-Wan is still a good knight.

But I'm still saying it could go either way. Luminara herself isn't a slow person, either in thought or in deed. And her command of the Force is very good, as depicted in The Approaching Storm.

I think the real fight here is Barriss versus Anakin. And Anakin could win, but not right away.

I'd agree that Maul could take Luminara, but Obi-wan didn't exactly defeat Maul on his own. Even if Obi-wan did cut his saber in two, he still ended up in a hole.

ROTS Obi-wan would definatly take her, but AOTC, not in my book.

But it's Mos Eisley. I'd imagine with Obi-Wan's use of terrain, it's an advantage.
