wtf with that book cover?
And to fill you in, Luminara around the time of AOTC was already a master since pre TPM times (The Cloak of Deception). She was a Form III practitioner who later went on to master the style, same as Obi-wan in ROTS. Barriss, her padawan, is a renowned healer and also a form III practitioner.
Anakin practices what appears to be Shien, although it's possible he has some Ataru influences in his style. He's far from mastered it at this point. Obi-Wan is now a Form III practitioner as of AOTC, but his defense is far from perfect.
I'm leaning towards Obi-Wan, while Anakin was very raw, he was also extremely talented. Both of them show being resourceful, and Luminari and Bariss both come off as being just another one of the order, which was extremely structured.
It's more of a gut feeling, as I don't have the raw figures and facts, but I give it Obi and Ani.
True, and that is what makes it a more even fight. Despite her age difference and more training, Obi-Wan is still a good knight.
But I'm still saying it could go either way. Luminara herself isn't a slow person, either in thought or in deed. And her command of the Force is very good, as depicted in The Approaching Storm.
I think the real fight here is Barriss versus Anakin. And Anakin could win, but not right away.
