They didn't look very even. Darkseid OB'ed Galactus: No effect. Galactus blasts Darkseid: ownage.
Galactus was nearly defeated by an attack from Darkseid? What page? Last I checked G was about to suck up the planet's energy while Darkseid looked on helplessly. Only reason Galactus didn't drain the planet was because it was devoid of energy.
You would think Darkseid would put his Omega Beams on the highest frequency if he were trying to defend his home world. Maybe he didn't see Galactus as much of a threat.

Galactus left because Apokolips was already a dead planet. There was nothing left to eat. Read the novel. 🙂
That sh** aint nothing, Odin has cause shock waves felt threw out universe when he battlews beings. Odin or King THor will own darkseid they have the ability to absorb the life force of asgard and the nine worlds making them on par with galactus. Also odin/king thor have arcane wisdom and rune king thor has greater wisdom then his father. Rune King uses his full potentail using the power of skfather/elder god bloodline and with the odinforce his powers are beyond darkseid post or pre -crisis

how can anyone who read that story think that Darkseid is close to Galactus's level of power?
Galactus was in a very weak state throughout the story.... and Darkseid tried to kill him with his omega beam.... Galactus just takes it (even while weakened) and tells him:
"yer tough .... but yer nothin' but a punk compared to the big 'G'"
(his exact words i believe)
