Thanos has survived world level destruction easily. He's taken a full power blast from an ancient god entity.

than why he needed to make his conrade to make one of the guards of his prison in the movie have more iron in his blood than normal humans.and yeah you are right goku has iron on his blody , but that wouldnt help mags destroy goku since he couldnt use it with simple humans
