Anyhow.. It was a fairly quick fight I might say.

The only one-on-one saber duel that lasted any longer was Anakin vs. Obi-Wan.

Did it? I thought Maul vs Qui gon and Obi wan was longer, I mean if you think about the fight during the time they were playing the gungan battle and battle up in space... I dont know..

Key phrase is one-on-one. And you can't add the time shown in other scenarios to the duel. The space scenes are what is happening during the duel, during the parts that we see. They are happening at the same time.

i'll lean twords obi in this fight. deppa would put up one helluva fight, but obi would plan the battle out while blocking and eventully get an advantage, like in his fight against anakin.

Remember in AOTC? When Dooku cut off Anakin's arm, he had a slightly guilty look on his face. I'm willing to bet that Dooku had a little pitty for Obi-Wan.

Consider the fact that instead of impaling his guts, he picked him up and pinned him under a pile of debris.

Well, you see the reason why Dooku dident stun or hurl anakin into something was because, well...he was ordered to turn him to the dark side, or not to kill him. Duh! If he wasnt under strict orders he would obliterate both of them very badly. He already did to obi wan. 😉

Actually that might be true because Dooku wasnt this evil badass who was out to kill every jedi. That was not why he turned sith. Maybe thats why he spared thier lives.

This is getting reduntant. Do you know the meaning of stun in this instance? To temporarily incapacitate a target without causing damage. Like the Force push he used on Obi-Wan. Or even a small bout of lightning, just enough to stagger him.

Obviously the kick was enough, he dident have to do anything else fancy.

Yeah. dooku gave him a damn horse kisck. You don't recover from those fast...even a Jedi.
