Comecy legend Ronny Barker died yesterday, age 76, due to heart failure, pay your respect here.

You've probably heard on the news, but if not, Ronnie Barker, comedian of Porridge, Open all Hours & of course the two Ronnies, has died. 🙁

A funny person too. I love watching him stutter on OAH. But now, he has gone, but his comedy will go on for many years to come. Goodbye Ronnie.rip

I didn't know who he was either. I had to look him up. British comedian. I think this is one of those threads that mainly the British posters will appreciate.

Americans won't know who he is - they have a hard time fathoming that people outside of America actually exist.

Open all hours was great as was the 2 Ronnies, never really got into Porridge though.

An accident occured today when a cement truck collided with a prison truck, and the prisoners escaped. Police are said to be looking for a number of hardened criminals. 😄
