Comic Book Halloween

Night 1 of 3 where I'll be dressing up this year. Here's the best photo of me from the party:

Most of my accoutrements are visible - cane, gun, rings, etc. A few are not, like the pocket watches in my pocket. The gears on the suit coat were added manually.

I got robbed imo in my costume contest. Some guy dressed as Willy Wonka won. Oh well. I have a costume contest win on my resume though, from when I was about 12, so I don't need to worry too much.

Meh you should have been the steampunk lord you dressed as and beat him to death with your cane and claimed the prize anyways. 😛

The coolest prop in the bunch was actually the cane - it absolutely stomps other accoutrements in terms of fun and number of uses - but the mustache got the most attention.

I also had not one but two ornate pocket watches. I purposefully didn't wind one, so I could be all like "Oh! My watch isn't working. Whatever shall I do? I know, why don't I check my other one!" Hamming it up ftw.
