Both die. Nightcrawler ports on gambit but gambit charges nightcrawlers suit. they emerge from teleportation in the sky where gambit is dropped and on the way down tosses a stone up at kurt exploding him into kitty litter.

Oh and nightcrawler cant teleport his head off. to he can only bring someone along with him on the trip.
your right he might have a hard time grabbing Nightcrawler cause of Kurts agility. Gambit is talented too though so i fig. he'd get a couple touchs or grabs in.
I see personally that Gambit has the advantage. Basically if Kurt touches him he gets charged. Gambit doesn't necess. need skin contact or theyd of said that.
Thus Kurt has to keep it to only letting his hands and feet and tail get touched.
I think Kurts shadow hiding abilities could keep him safe in most situations.
But on the battle field Gambit is pretty awesome. He can take out large numbers of attackers...thats why i like him

But seriously, Nightcrawler doesn't even need to do the teleport-head-off move. He can grab a rock and teleport with it to place it inside Gambit's head. Instant death.
Hell, Kurt could even sacrifice a limb and port his own arm/foot into Gambit's head. Instant death again, with a severe injury on Kurt's part.
Nightcrawler should win everytime, but for the sake of PIS, I'll say he takes it 8/10.
