Kinberg: I'm Jewish, so I don't know much about easter eggs. But I don't think our movie is overstuffed with characters. That would be like saying the comics are too crowded with characters. This film takes place in the X-Men universe, so when we write a geneticist, it's Kavita Rao instead of some nameless, faceless doctor. This movie has a bigger canvas than the first two films, so there's room for more characters. Think about how many characters there were in Return of the King or Revenge of the Sith. Having said that, there's still not enough room for every great character, so we have to make sacrifices sometimes. Like Gambit. I'm a huge Gambit fan, but we knew there wasn't enough space to do him justice, so he'll have to wait till X4.

Kinberg: We didn't write the script with the next movies in mind. But it's definitely not the end of the series. I know they [20th Century Fox and Marvel Studios] plan on making Wolverine and more X-Men movies. We wrote the script as the end of a trilogy, the end of one cycle. The next movies will start a new cycle.

As long as they don't go the way of the original Batman movies (nipples on the batsuit anyone?) I'm thrilled to hear there will be more movies! Keep 'em coming.

I belive they are gonna end the X-Men series with X3.

they can revamp the whole thing after x3

i think, they shud continue everything witht he characters they can get back from the originals and possibly use them as the headmasters in the mansion. Then we can have other mutants in.... also i wanna see an Apocalypse story line, u know something really SINISTER... haha! or the phalanx or holocaust! something really kewl... ohh i wud love to see the white queen(as jean is dead) she can be with scott, still have beast, bring back the wall crawler and keep rogue and iceboy! haha i get so excited talking about the following x-men movies

X3 ends the trilogy and that story line, but X4 is completely different or they might just do a spin off.

why wouldnt they do apocalalopolips , that story done right can be a trilogy on its own. Start of in BC egypt and pretty much make the movie about him. then end it with cable going back in time , could be a great sci fi movie*s*

I still say the should make a better t.v show than they did back then.....have it on scfi fridays with Battlestar Galatica/Stargate sg-1 and Stargate Atlantis. That would be so cool.

I really think there will be an Apocalypse storyline with Angel being transformed into Archangel and all that, and in the last movie he gets his wings back or something.

Maybe

well if they are up to date with x-men then they will now that angel is now even more evolved and has a healing factor(as far as i know its no were near has strong as wolvies) but as a result he is now NOT-blue and has his origin wings!

I wanna see metal wing Archangel...horseman of ...Apocalypse!!!!
X3 will be an ending..questions will be answered...but new questions and problems will be raised which will see the stage for movies beyond X3.

I believe there will....but depending how good or bad X3 is will determine how long we have to wait.
