Kankuro was speechless. Karasu dropped on the ground. Kankuro stood up, knowing that Neji had found him. "That was impressive." Kankuro said with a glare in his eye. "I guess I have no choice but to accept defeat." Kankuro than dashed off shouting back. "Or do I?" Suddenly Kankuro reappeared with one of Karasu's gas bombs. "Before I sent Karasu out, I knew something back might happen, so... I grabbed one of these." Kankuro smiled. Neji looked puzzled. "But don't worry, I made sure the amount of poison gas in this bomb only has enough power to knock you out." Kankuro threw the gas bomb, then bolted into the trees, watching the scene below.

Neji smiled. "Foolish." He said out loud. Had he not learned anything?

"Kaiten" Neji said.

Kankuro smacked himself hard in the forehead. He had been an idiot. Accepting defeat he hopped from the tree. "Neji, you are really something you know that. Now tell me where the nearest village is!" Kankuro walked over to the ruined body of Karasu... he'd repair him later, but now, he had to eat something. Neji stared back at Kankuro. "Well, answer me?" Kankuro shouted, not in anger, but in hunger.

Neji had spared Kankuro by deflecting the gas bomb backwards. "I will take you there, but You need to give me information after" Neji said with a stern look.

Shikamaru watched the fight with slight interest then took off away from them towards Kakashi. He wasnt much for following directions but it didnt seem the time to start complaining. He stopped on a nearby branch seeing Kakashi and other nins.

"Information?" Kankuro started, but then came to an idea. "Fine, I'll give you the information once we reach the village." Kankuro got Karasu snug on his back, and Neji lead Kankuro through the woods until they became close to a village.

Neji lead him the village hidden in the leaves. They went to a ramen stand and sat down. Neji ordered himself some food, as did Kankuro. Neji then asked "Why exactly were you and Gaara here?"

Kankuro nearly choked when Neji asked him this question. Gaara hadn't told him why he wanted to come here, he just said that there was something here that he needed. Kankuro deicded to lie. "Well, we deicded to do a bit of roaming." Kankuro said, trying to sound as correct as possible. He closed his eyes. Gaara was strange... even though he was his teammate, he was still strange.

Neji just sat there. Clearly Kankuro was the stooge of the duo. Then Neji remembered that Shikamaru and Kakashi were fighting back in the cemetery. "We have to go back" Neji said standing up. "Gaara has to answer my question too"

Shikamaru did not do anything he watched for a bit but then sighed and jumped down making sure not to be seen. He decided to help out Kakashi a bit. He put his hands together. "Kage Mane no Jutsu! Shadow Copy Technique!" he said, his shadow stretching towards nightshade. As it combined with her shadow any move Shikamaru made she was forced to do also. He stood there and smiled putting his hands it a weird position ontop of his head.

Kankuro was simply enjoying his food and had no intentions of leaving. "Why? Gaara could be long gone by now." Kankuro stared at Neji, but Neji insisted that they move along. Very reluntcly, he stood up. "Let's go." The dashed away through the trees, never exposing their backs to one another. Suddenly, they could hear the fighting going on. "He's up ahead, I can hear the sand." Kankuro said. Neji didn't look like he cared. "How am I going to fight? Karasu is damaged, and I'm not much of a close combat fighter..." Kankuro thought.

Neji looked down and saw not gaara, but Shikamaru, and he was holding the ninja that was fighting kakashi against her will!

"Shikamaru?" Neji asked himself with a puzzled look. "He must have gotten the drop on her. Neji looked backward towards Kankuro. "Come down here" he said as he hopped down to Shikamaru. "So what info have we gotten out of her so far?" Neji asked Shikamaru, with a tad bit of annoyance.

"I have no idea what your talking about" Shikamaru said concentrating on holding the shadow. He wished that Kakashi would hurry and defeat her, he couldnt hold the shadow copy technique for more than five minutes.

Kankuro looked from ninja to ninja, they all looked pretty strong. "What exactly is going on... and where is Gaara?" Kankuro asked. He and Gaara had been through a lot together and a small bond had been made between the two. Kankuro stared at the each of the ninja with such a stare, that it sent chills down your back. "I'm waiting for an answer."

Neji was annoyed by shikamaru's response. "What is she doing here, and why did she attack kakashi?"

"Well I havent heard any talking so I dont know much, but from the looks of the fight it seems that its a battle over nothing." he said carefully. Shikamaru didnt really know this but he coul kinda tell from the way they fight. He wasnt called a genius for nothing.

Kankuro continued looking from ninja to ninja... "Hmm, so you haven't asked her anything?" Kankuro didn't really know what else to say, he still wanted to know where Gaara was. "Look, just tell me where Gaara went, and I'll leave you alone." He said, though, he was sure he would not leave them alone. Kankuro looked at Shikamaru, was he as strong as he looked? The thought faded from his mind. He needed to find Gaara, to warn him.

(OMG!!!I DONT UNDERSTAND ANY OF THIS!!!!! im out unless i fihure out whats goin on here)
