Daiki and Hinamori approached a ramen shop. They saw a pink haired girl yell up at the roof. *Well thats silly, yelling up at the roof* Hinamori thought, but then she saw the blond kid. Oh, well that explains why.

"Daiki, are you sure you want ramen?" Hinamori asked "There's a lot going on over there. And I don't want to get caught in it." she whined

"Oh be quiet." Daiki said as he took a seat. "Two bowls please" he said as the chef began making it. Hinamori took a seat next to the pink haired girl.

Sakura noticed the two strangers sit next to her. She noticed the headband on Daikis arm.
"Hey you guys are from the Hidden Waterfall Village aren't you!" she said, ignoring Naruto.

"huh? Oh yea. Why?" he said
"Well, we don't often get visitors you know." she said
"Who's up there?" Hinamori interrupted.
"Oh thats just my teammate Uzumaki Naruto"

(( i kind of thought of a way for haku to be in this but it misses with the past a bit))

[ after putting zabuza in his final resting place kakashi turn to haku to do the same. as kakashi picked up haku some thing unbelievable happened, haku was breathing faintly. a few days later haku woke up in the home tazuna and his family. as he opened his eye he remembered that he had jumped in the way of kakashi attack to save zabuza]
haku: how...how am i still alive [haku tryed to move but he was still weak]
tazuna: you are very lucky to be alive kid
[haku turn to him he was shocked to see the bridge builder]
haku: seeing that you are still alive we must of failed and my master is died and im alive because he (kakashi) missed my vital areas as he was going for master zabuza. [ tears came down from his eyes] you should of let me die... kill me there is no reason for me to live.
tazuna: shut up you fool! don't you see this is your opportunity to live your own life to go after your own dreams. [tazuna told haku what had happened zabuza and gato] oh and kakashi told me to give this to you [ he pulled out a peice of paper it was a letter, haku slowly took the letter from tuzuna and read it haku if you are reading this that your alive i just wanted to tell you that your master died with honor and he thought of you more then a tool but as a friend, i am sorry it had to end like that but if you are still angry, come in find me i'll be ready signed hatake kakashi.]
tuzuna: so what will you do
haku: i don't know
tuzuna: you can stay as long as you like
haku: why are be so kind to me we tryed to kill you and your dream
tuzuna: because i know deep down your a good kid
[ a few years passes haku rebuild the land of the waves. he trains every day to keep his skills]
haku: thank you for every thing you have done for me but i must be going

Shio looked back again only to see two more people. "Oh great... what is this some kind of ninja social." Shio muttered.

[a few days later he made it to konoha. he snuck in to avoid unwanted questions,walk through the street and spotted a romen bar] ((or what ever it is))

haku: this is a very popular spot in konoha i see [saying to the person next to him] ((that could be any one))

Hinamori jumped up. The ninja had sat next to her without making a sound.

"u-uh Yes" she said. "I see that you are from the Village Hidden in the Mist." she said noticing Hakus headband. "I'm Hinamori, from the Waterfall Village, and this is my brother, Daiki." she said with a friendly smile. SHe nudged Daiki to say hello to the young boy.

"What-" he said and then noticed the Mist Village ninja. He hadn't notice him since Hinamori nudged him.
*He has a skill for stealth* he thought and held out his hand.

[haku smiled, he forgot he was wearing his head band ]

haku: oh, my name is haku pleased to you both. and im not really a ninja this was my father's he gave it to me before he died [he takes it off, after his food comes he pays the man and leaves] hope i see you two again.

"Um.... No..... Sakura-chan might, though!" Naruto smiled back at the older boy, squinting because his grin was so big. "I'm Naruto By the way."

"Pleasure to meet you, Souh Nachi."

"Naruto! Who, or What's there?!" Could be heard in the background.

"Don't worry Sakura-chan! He's a friend."

Peering over the blonde's shoulder, Nachi could see three people seated at the counter. Another blond (who he had thought to be naruto's date) was arguing with the pink-haired girl he took to be Naruto's 'Sakura-chan' The third, though, seemeed familiar to Nachi, as if he knew him from somewhere.

The room smelled like it hadn't been dusted in a thousand years. Shikamaru fell in and out of a strange sleep. He dreamt of demons and monsters, all of them laughing violently and burning and pillaging villages. But the strangest part of his dreams was that he kept seeing a small boy, about the same age as the rest of the Konoha genins. He had deep, sorrowful eyes. It may sound strange saying it, but the boy was...really pretty.

"Why do these troublesome things continually happen to me?" Shikamaru asked out loud, pulling on the chains that strapped him to the concrete wall behind him. It was all his fault really. This was his punishment for trying to lead the life of a shinobi. He wondered if there was such a profession of a "cloud scientist".....then he shook himself out of his stupor. He had to start thinking of a way out of here. Or what the hell he was doing here. What was the point of capturing someone like him? He was only a chuunin, and not a very good one at that. He didn't even have a kekkei genkai - a bloodline limit.

Shikamaru took in his surroundings more. The hallway outside was barely lit by several small lamps. From what he could tell, there were more cells outside of his. He couldn't see any guards either. It made sense seeing as how tight he was strapped in. Maybe these guys captured more konoha ninjas!

"Hey! Is anyone out there!" Shikamaru yelled, hoping for a response. He sighed when no one replied. Hopefully Konoha was planning some sort of rescue. If he was the only ninja left kidnapped, then he didn't see the point.

While walking, Temari heard a very faint "hey". She couldn't figure out which direction it was coming from. So she decided to respond.
"Hello!" she yelled in hopes of the same person responding. She stood silently, she had to or else she wouldn't have heard the person in the first place.

(Don’t read the spoiler unless you’ve read chapter 320 of Naruto or you’ll ruin it for yourself.)

Just finished up with most recent chapter and I was wondering what you guys thought of it. Actually, I found it to be quite funny, especially with the whole “Huuuuuuuungry…” part with Naruto. The baka looked funny with his head on the table, mumbling ramen over and over (funny and cute… Er… Yeah… Naruto fan…). Anyways, I think Kakashi is going to reveal something to Naruto about his (Naruto) past, why else would he put off the training. It wouldn’t be for a new jutsu (Naruto’s already learning one), and it’s not something about Sasuke (no point in that, Kakashi doesn’t know anything new about the Uchiha). Nor would he take off his mask (he said “tell” before saying “show”, and sorry rabid Kakashi fans). Anyways, I think it will either be something about Naruto’s heritage or the genin’s childhood (i.e. as a baby). Yeah… so that’s all. I’d like to hear your thoughts too, though.

The Trouble with Names

Leading his new friend into the stall, Naruto began to the people to introduce them to Nachi who politely greeted each of them. The other blond, who Naruto introduced as Ino seemed to be half interested in him but quick mumbled something about “her Sasuke-kun…” which Naruto’s Sakura-chan happened to hear it and turned around to start an argument. After identifying these two, Naruto pointed to one of the two shinobi at the end of the counter.

“And that’s… um… that’s…”

As the waterfall shinobi tried to respond, he was cut of by the number one ninja at surprising people.

“Wait!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you’re name!!!!!!!! No! Give me time, I beat I can get it!!!!! You’re… you’re… Matsumaru! Am I right, huh? Huh?”

“No you baka! Just shut up already! They’re from Waterfall country,” Ino shouted exasperatedly at the hyperactive thirteen-year-old over Sakura’s rant, which got him going on another spiel.

“Waterfall? Really? What’s it like there? Can you show me any really cool jutsus? That would be awesome! My name’s Naruto, what’s yours? I beat you’re really strong! How ‘bout we train together later? We can meet on the…”

The sound of the blonde’s voice faded out as Nachi’s attention drifted elsewhere; to the boy he thought he knew. A name came to mind, one remembered from the chunnin exams: Shio. He had been the only other Konoha ninja outside of the Team 5 group to make it into the finals, and his opponent for the first fight had been Nachi. If it was possible for Nachi to recall who the other was, then what stopped the other boy from naming him, let alone reporting him? No doubt there was a bounty upon Nachi’s head. The Uchiha clan would have made sure that, had he returned, it would mean his death. The bastard son of their blood was supposed to stay a secret as to preserve their arrogant pride. Nachi’s temper flared up at the though of the family he had never been a part of.

‘No… I have to calm down or the seals will break. I promised Yoshi-sensei I would keep the demon from hurting others. I will not go back on my word. The Houkou must not escape; I must keep my emotions under control.’

–FLASHBACK–
“Just remember, boy. This seal is not as strong as the one the Forth used on the Kyuubi. I don’t have the strength, nor do I possess the knowledge of how to perform such a feat. So do not underestimate the Houkou. Should you lose control of your feelings, it will escape. And no matter what, do not listen to its lies.
……………
I’m almost finished, but listen. When everything is done, remove your arm from the trunk and run as fast as you can; no matter how much it hurts, you must run. I cannot guarantee that the others will spare your life. They will see you as the demon itself and will not heed your words.
……………
This is goodbye, Nachi. Once I activate the seal, you’ll be on your own.”

Returning the calm he had maintained before, the boy could feel eyes upon him. Realizing that the other nukenin (I’m guessing that’s what Shio is, seeing as he left with out orders) was looking at him, Nachi met his gaze and used some hand signals that most ninjas are required to know in order communicate in silence. He didn’t fear the others seeing, as their attention was on Naruto, but he made it as quick as possible. Four letters, one word: Shio.

(Sorry about that Dark, I couldn’t remember how old your character was but thanks for playing along with me. I’ll also take this time to apologize for stealing Silent Dream’s characters a couple of times, briefly.

And yes, in the flashback scene, Nachi hand his hand stuck in a tree. The Houkou is a tree dwelling spirit that looks like a white dog with five tails. It controls the five elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Lightening, and Wind. Basically, Yoshi and Nachi trapped it in the tree trunk, and Nachi (as Yoshi had to perform the jutsu) was forced to become the container for the Houkou. So now you understand his relationship with his demon, as it varies from the Naruto/Kyuubi relationship.

[haku walked passed naruto, he was making a fool of him self and didn't notice haku]

haku: it seems konoha isnt' that big after all

Shio's eyes widened and his jaw dropped slightly as he saw the ninja make the hand signs to spell out his name. He quicky regained his composure and then noticed another familiar ninja quickly walk by. "I know him. He was with Zabuza... his name is Haku. What is a ninja like that doing in Konoha." Shio wondered. He then got up and began to walk towards Haku. Although Shio left Konoha he still cared for his old village and did not want to see anyone get hurt.

[haku noticed shio coming from behind him, he was in the middle of the street when he stopped]

haku: it's a beautiful night ((or day)) isn't? [he looked around and saw shio] can i help you with some thing?

"Yes you can help me. What are you doing here?" Shio asked coldly. "Is this another one of Zabuza's plans or did you just finally get sick of him and decided to leave?"

While he was talking Shio slowly pulled out a kunai from under his cloak.

"Yes, Hokage-sama. Nachi, he left eight years ago due to some personal reasons. I believe his sensei was sent after him."

"I know of who you speak. Souh Nachi. Uchiha Saatchi reported that she found Otori Yoshi's body and a discarded hitai-ate in the Forest of Death, but no sign of the boy. The council charged him with murdering Yoshi-san; his punishment, should he return, is death." Tsunade's eyes narrowed. The Uchiha clan had also brought another reason before the council, but it was not noted within the file. Yoshi's corpse, when it had been brought in to the clinic for cleaning, had born many deep wounds none, though, had been the cause of death. In fact, Tsunade, who had been in charge of the body, found that none of these wounds had been inflicted during Yoshi's life. And the smile on the shinobi's lips had supported her belief. Otori Yoshi hadn't been murdered, he died by his own free will. Murder had been a cover up for the boy's sentencing. Whatever the boy's true crime, if any, was with the clan.

"Why? What makes her so special?" Naruto, being the idiot he was and not meaning to be rude in any way, couldn't figure out why the boy kept saying that Hinamori was more than enough for him. The girl, after all, appeared to be younger than Daiki.

Nachi was meanwhile amused by Shio's reaction. It was obvious that he didn't want his identity known, both from his reaction and the use of an alias. As neither wanted to be found out, there seemed to be an unspoken truce between them. Smirking, Nachi turned to find both Ino and Sakura looking at him, and quickly smiled. 'I wonder if they suspect something... Probably not, but it's best to stay on guard...'

Unbeknown to the two nukennin, Ino had indeed been watching the exchange. She found the silent exchange between the two boy quite odd, and stranger still that Otas left quickly. As this newcomer, Nachi as Naruto had introduced him, turned around, though, the blond couldn't help but notice his smirk. It reminded her of the one that use to grace Sasuke's face when he was amused. Actually, Nachi in general reminded her of Sasuke. Sure, his eyes were a different color and his hair was combed differently, but there was something about him that made her think of the boy of her dreams.

(Um... the picture showed that he had brown hair but he had black hair...)
