(Heh, spirit week right now at school so I have little homework to do. I'll give a recap:

Current Storyline:
It's Christmas/Winter is Konohagakure no Sato and the village is getting ready to celebrate!!! Unbeknown to the festive villagers, trouble is just on the horizon.

At the Hyuuga compound, Neji, Hinata, Hanabi, and their new friend Ryu are setting up for the party when they are attacked and Neji is captured! In a desperate attempt the three young shinobi, injured as they are, pursue.

A while later, two blonds show up on the door step of the Hyuuga compound. Knowing nothing, Ino and Naruto argue for sometime before another Hyuuga appears and relieves them of the arrangement they have brought. They think nothing of their friends absences and precede to Ichiraku to eat before shopping for the perfect gift for Sakura.

At the border of the village, a mysterious ninja from Rain appears and confronts a daydreaming Shikamaru. This emissary asks for the Hokage before passing out. Shio, a nukenin (unknown to all other players with the exception of Nachi) who is passing by takes him to the medical center. As they leave, Shikamaru is also captured.

Back at Ichiraku, Sakura and Shio (who found her after dropping Kazuma - the Rain-nin off) find Naruto and Ino eating at the Ramen Shop. They watch in curiosity before two visiting Waterfall ninjas (siblings Ukitake Hinamori & Daiki) enter the picture.

Any introduction on behalf of these new shinobi is interrupted by someone landing on the roof of the restaurant. Naruto is throw out of Ichiraku by Ino to investigate.

Once out, Naruto comes face to face with Souh Nachi, a former ninja of Konoha who is suspected of killing his own teacher - a former teammate of the Yondaime. He has been missing from Konoha for eight years, explaining why the genin and chuunin don't recognize him.

Once they become acquainted, Nachi and Naruto reenter Ichiraku and Nachi immediately remembers Shio from his own Chuunin Exams and sends a message to the other boy through hand signs. A battle ensues between Nachi and Naruto, both borrowing chakra from their biju, when two Anbus show up and confront Nachi (charging him with murder). Shio runs off before he is noticed.

Eventually, both boys are subdued and taken to the Hokage Tower where Tsunade-sama presents the charges against Nachi (page 95). At this point she alludes to him being of Uchiha blood. Danzo steps in and claims the the boy's life is then in the hands of the Council.

Before the tensions between these two can escalate, Anbus report an attack on Konoha and Tsunade must take action. She organizes a team under her own apprentice and Danzo insists that Nachi is taken along (he wants someone to watch Naruto for him). The Haruno-6 is now on a rescue mission to retrieve Choji, Shikamaru, and Neji. They do not know that Hinata, Hanabi, and Ryu are missing as well.

Now Team Haruno is meeting at the Western Gate to start their mission, and Kakashi and Gai have been sent north to rally the other jounins and chuunins.

In response to your question, SD, the nukenin being accompanied by Sai is Nachi.

Speaking of which... Where is Ishida-san? And Chakra-san? Neither of them have been on lately, either. Quincy was the one controlling the enemy shinobi. I'm not even sure what he has planned for the Haruno-6.

Holding his bruised cheek, Sai turned to stare at Naruto who was doubled over in laughter. "Shut up, dickless!"

"Hey!"

The rest of the arguement faded out of Nachi's hearing as he studied the pink haired girl. He had already 'met' her teammates. Naruto it seemed a bit overactive and Sai had emotional problems. But even with their flaws those two seemed pretty strong.

Haruno Sakura, though, was still a puzzle to him. It was obvious she was a medic-nin, so why was she leading this mission? Medic-nin didn't normal have leadership qualities, they were included in a team to merely heal the other members. Yet the Hokage had seemed sure that this girl could manage five others on a rescue mission.

So puzzled was the nukenin that he began to consider using the Sharingan for a brief moment to study her, but abandoned that though in an instant. Were the others here to notice he would be outright forfeiting his life.

(He still believes that the Uchiha clan will kill him, as they threaten to do should he return to Konoha.)

"What're you looking at?" Sakura said looking a Nachi in a weird way.
'Great. A pervert on our team...'

Temari decided to go back to Konoha. It was impossible to find them out there. She had been out in the forrest for about three days, surviving off of what she brought with her, which was very little. She re-entered the gates to find some ninja waiting to go out.

"Hey." she said walking up to Sakura "Where are you guys going?"

"Temari?" Sakura said in suprise "Where are those creppy brothers of yours? I hardly see you without them."

"Ah, Gaara stayed at home and Kankuro got ninjanapped. Where are you guys going?" she asked looking behind her at the others.

"Ah, we're going to try and find some missing ninja." Sakura replied.

“Engh…gh..” Kakashi was breathing heavily, the mist gladdened bridge only depleting his line of vision further. His brain felt as though it were going to explode with pain. Knowing full and well he had lost his eye completely, his hand still held the bloodied kunai that had been thrown. The shadowed Iwagakure nin stood ready to unleash yet another attack, but to the effect Kakashi couldn’t see what was exchanged. “Kakashi-san!” A black blur, then he saw the opposing nin fall to the ground with a thud. Turning his head, he squinted his eye further to spot the red eyed nin now standing nearby. “Obito, your eyes. Sharingan?” Blood seeped out of Kakashi’s firmly shut left eye, as he only did his best to stare.

However, times were meant for gloating, this not being that. As a rumble filled the air, head turning upwards, he spotted the dislodged boulder rolling downhill. Again, his teammate saved him. The exerted push sending him rolling along the bridge surface. A scream, then silence, quickly scraping his hands against the ground, he rose once more to examine the damage. The boulder had done its damage of course, the form of Obito seen just barely underneath the rock. “Obito!”

Form jolting upwards, the bed covering slid away from his form. Right hand resting atop his left brow, Kakashi’s chest rose and fell slowly. A dream, or better fit a nightmare. It was still dark outside, and he’d still be allowed a little more sleep at least. Silver tresses remained motionless, as that hand on his brow slowly drifted downward running across his cheek. Those historical events from the past had made him into the present. Letting his form drop once more back onto the bed, both eyes remained open to gaze upwards at the ceiling. Each event went by mentally in slow motion, face holding a concentrated measure of thought. Slowly blinking, he could still feel the difference between his left and right eye. Only picturing that shade of red, those thoughts slowly fell back to the usual space in his mind.

Turning upon the bed, he pulled the blanket once more over his shoulder blade. Eyes drifting slowly to a close, the last lingering thought those crimson kaleidoscopes. He however didn’t suffer that repeated dream for the rest of the night, obviously content on having dealt that revisiting blow one time. He knew dreams were specifically psychological, but that still didn’t stop them from happening. It happened rarely, but he accepted it every time when it did.

*Lee watched from above in a tree at the group and smiled. He knew these people, maybe they could give him some answers. He stood on the the branch and waved, calling out* Hey! Naruto! Sakura! It is me, Rock-Lee! *Just then, the branch broke, and Lee fell forward head first and hit the ground, rolling into a crouched position and landing on his back infront of the group. He grinned sheepishly and stood up, rubbing the dust from his body.*

(AH! Quincy! Kim and I weren't talking about you and how you abandoned this rpg. Why would we say that about the handsome Quincy? Hehehe. But you'll have to do the bad guy post as well. 😊 )

The dog ran, straight through the underbrush, racing ahead, as the animal gazed left and right before halting. Rather large, the dog sniffed the ground, before a sudden shift, brought a masked figure standing just beside the dog. ANBU of course, the kitsune pits for eyes staring ahead, before he lowered a hand to tap the dog’s skull. Silver hair streaked backwards in spikes, as the mask’s strap caused as such.

Digits shifting in a curled motion brought the dog to race forward once more. Of course Sakura had been made leader, but that didn’t prevent him from playing a guardian angel for that group of ninjas. Once more taking off at a run, he leapt to balance perfectly atop an oak branch. No traces so far were seen of those strange enemies, but that didn’t stop their scents from reaching ninken. Keeping step with the large dog was easy enough, as he had trained it. Deeper into those black pits, eyes gazed outward focusing on every little movement, and slight noise.

As for distance parameters, he was at least a mile ahead, successive to pick off severe threats, let alone prevent the group from running headlong into a trap. The dog back tracked as well, just as he himself did. It was just preventing any threats from afflicting the team, but he made himself unknown. Keeping out of sight, let alone mind, the jounin once more halted. Raising the mask, different colored optics gazed down the road. Length wise, they could reach this position in a matter of minutes, but he was perfectly cloaked between branches. Lowering the mask once more, his facial features covered, he shifted the large katana along his right shoulder blade as well.

He’d make himself known, only when the time was necessary. Aside from that, Sakura could use the personal boost, to know she’s capable of being a leader. The dog halted once before sniffing the ground. It was a cycle, perfected over a period of time to ensure the greatest efficiency, and results. Being in ANBU attire made his clothing actually lighter then usual. Not weighted with the thick material of a flack jacket, the light vest still was armored just along the inside of the fabric. A set of six kunai rested in a pack along his left side, the right holding a similar pack of shuriken.
